Here is one of many bolts that go from the bearers up to the bottom plate for the frames. The cyclone rods screw into here and go up to the top plate of the frames.

Drilling holes for the 12mm cyclone rods that help secure the top of the frame to the bearers.

The metal straps also help secure the frames together.

6. Doing the subfloor and floor

Bearers bolted onto the steel posts.

The first joist is now on the bearers.

Joists going in with blocking between them and on the ends.
The structa-flooring is now going on. This is glued and screwed down to the joists. Posted by Picasa

Putting the glue on for the flooring.

5. Now for the retaining wall

Gravel, gravel.. and more gravel...
The wall is made of Kopper Roundbacks, and the posts are Kopper slabs. Posted by Picasa

Plenty of gravel for drainage.
